GSRTC Driver Recruitment

Eligibility Criteria

• Vision: Must possess clear vision. Candidates with color blindness are not eligible to apply.
• Height (Male): Minimum 162 cm (Relaxed to 160 cm for Scheduled Tribe candidates).
• Height (Female): Minimum 158 cm.
• Height measurements will be strictly certified using official weighing and measuring instruments approved by the weights and measures department of the corporation.

Educational Qualification

• Educational Level: Minimum Class 12th Pass (10+2) from a recognized board.
• License Requirements (Male Candidates):
  • Must hold a valid Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License issued by RTO.
  • Must possess a valid Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Badge.
  • The Heavy Driving License must be at least 4 years old.
• License Requirements (Female Candidates):
  • અરજી કરતી વખતે માન્ય હેવી ટ્રાન્સપોર્ટ વ્હીકલ ડ્રાઇવિંગ લાઇસન્સ અને PSV બેજ હોવો આવશ્યક છે.
  • ભારે વાહનો ચલાવવાનો અગાઉનો અનુભવ ફરજિયાત નથી. જો પસંદ કરાયેલા ઉમેદવારો પાસે અનુભવનો અભાવ હોય, તો તેઓ કોર્પોરેશનના ઓટોમેટિક ડ્રાઇવિંગ ટેસ્ટ સેન્ટર ખાતે ફરજિયાત 2 મહિનાનો તાલીમ કાર્યક્રમમાંથી પસાર થશે.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 25 Years
• Maximum Age: 35 Years (Born between 05/07/1991 and 05/07/2001)
• Age Relaxation: Relaxations are applicable to reserved categories in accordance with Gujarat government guidelines (e.g., 5 years for Reserved Male candidates, 5 years for General Female candidates, and 10 years for Reserved Female candidates, up to a maximum age limit of 45 years).

Application Fees

• Unreserved (General) Category: Rs. 300/- + GST
• Reserved Categories (EWS, SEBC, SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, and Female candidates): Rs. 200/- + GST
